Treasury Accountant 2026 Recruitment Exercise Timeline

^ A letter has been sent by post to eligible applicants who meet the entry requirements to notify them of the recruitment examination details. Those who have not received the letter by 25 September 2026 should contact the Departmental Personnel Section of the Treasury immediately by phone at 3847 8854 or by e-mail to recruitment@try.gov.hk.

Examination arrangement on the approach of Tropical Cyclone/Rainstorm and Government Announcement of “Extreme Conditions” on the Examination Date

If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above remains hoisted / “Extreme Conditions” is in force at 8:00 a.m. on the examination date, the examination will be postponed. If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is lowered / “Extreme Conditions” is cancelled at or before 8:00 a.m. on the examination date, the examination will be held as scheduled.

If a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force at 8:00 a.m. on the examination date, the examination will be postponed. If the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is removed, or if an Amber or Red warning signal is in force at 8:00 a.m. on the examination date, the examination will be held as scheduled.

If the examination is postponed due to adverse weather / “Extreme Conditions”, it will be re-scheduled to 11 October 2026 (Sunday) at the same time and venue. No further notification letter will be issued.
